We got to Lake Powell on Thursday.  We've camped here before, but love it.  We've done the dam tour, the boat tour on the lake and the slot canyon tour before, so we were looking for something else to do.  We saw Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center and Lee's Ferry on the map so we decided to check it out Saturday.
So glad we did!
The Navajo Bridge is actually 2 bridges.  Original bridge was completed in 1929 and was used for 66 years.  As cars became bigger, the bridge became too small and so a new bridge was built and completed in 1995.  The old bridge remains and serves as a pedestrian bridge with an awesome view of the Colorado River 467 feet below!
Here's a link for more info on the bridge:  https://www.nps.gov/glca/learn/historyculture/navajobridge.htm

We then took a drive up the canyon to Lee's Ferry, which transported people across the Colorado before the bridge was built.  Remains of a couple of buildings are still there and the drive was beautiful!!
