We are taking a much needed break in Bullhead City, AZ. Staying at the county park campground on the river again, beautiful place! Imagine my surprise however, when I stepped outside yesterday and was greeted by this sight......

We landed in Prescott Az. We are camped amongst the granite boulders in the Dell's.  On the way here, we stopped in Tucson and visited Mission San Xavier.  The new mission was built in 1783 but it has been in the same spot since 1692, over 300 years! We had to sample the fry bread being made there in the plaza! We also paid a visit to Bucky's Casino in Prescott where Cindy continued her winning streak!

We landed in Las Cruces NM. and paid a visit to the White Sands missile range as well as the only national monument that can be seen from space, White Sands itself!

We've landed in Texas just north of Austin. We are settled in amongst the cedars with a beautiful view of the San Gabriel River. Today we braved the traffic and drove into Austin and toured the city on Segway's!!! about 3 hours and over 6 miles!!! The pic is of us in front of the state capital building.

January 28, 2015, our traditional trip to casinos in Biloxi with Dave and Marcia.  It was a good trip!!

We've landed at Gulf Shores Al. We have our own private fishing hole right off our patio !!! The gnome is very happy!!!

Gulf Shores 2014, another day in paradise!

Landed in Gulf Shores, January 11th.  Snow chased us all the way down, but sunshine and milder temps greeted us.  Our campsite at Gulf State Park right on the inland lake, beautiful!

On our way to Biloxi with Dave and Marcia.  They took us to The Shed in Ocean Springs, MS.   Great food and character.  You could spend an hour or two in this place and not see everything.

Spent the night at casino in Biloxi.  Another great overnight trip with Dave and Marcia.

The dog pushed Bruce out of his seat looking for leftovers...

Dave and Marcia take us to all the finest places!  Great burgers and company!!

Bruce bbq'd a tri-tip for dinner one night, delicious!  The very next night, this is what the grill and table looked like.  Crazy!!!!

Gulf State Park now has zip line, so naturally, we had to try it!!  The last line is from a 90-foot tall platform.  It is a dual zip line of 1,228 feet allowing you to zip side-by-side over the lake to the finish platform in Lake Shelby.  Bruce said he could see the curvature of the earth from this tower!  I believe they told us you get to a speed of about 45 miles an hour!  It really was awesome!!

Another wonderful dinner with wonderful company, Dave, Marcia, their daughter Amy and grandson Lucas.  One of our last nights in Gulf Shores. 
We spent 2 months here this year.  Didn't have the weather we were expecting, but then again, did anybody?
