Finally!!!… we were beginning to think that the desert bighorn was just a myth! Cindy and I have been searching for these critters for years in the desert high country… we've developed permanent cricks in our necks from always looking up for them! We were camped in the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. (one of our favorite places) Two days after a unusually heavy rain, down from the mountains they came, close to 50 of them! These pictures were taken from the side of the main road thru the park.
